AG: No secrets

THERE?IS?EVERY CHANCE that it was the security forces who asked Facebook for information on the accounts of three Barbadian users.
Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite told the DAILY?NATION yesterday that the Government of Barbados had more important things to do than to be contacting Facebook about people’s personal accounts.
He was reacting to a report last week from the online social networking service which said that in the first six months of this year, Barbados made three requests for information about three different users.
Stressing that they were “no secrets in my ministry”, Brathwaite said he had no knowledge of any Government probe into the accounts of the three Facebook users but acknowledged that the security forces could have made an inquiry in pursuit of an investigation.
