Three injured in Salters crash

A MIDDAY HEAD-ON collision yesterday left three people injured, one of them seriously.
The two-car smash-up took place along Salters Road, St George.
According to police, one of the vehicles was driven by Kemal Boodhoo, 20, of Warners Park, Christ Church. He suffered the most serious injury, a broken right leg, and had to undergo surgery. Fire officials had to be called in to remove him from his vehicle using the Jaws of Life.
Also involved in the accident were Shamara Scott, 19, of Briar Hall, Christ Church, who suffered an injury to her right leg, and Matthew Small, 19, of Maxwell, Christ Church, who had an injury to his left shoulder.
It is uncertain which vehicle Scott and Small were travelling in.
Driver of the other vehicle, 30-year-old Marvin Bristol, of Kingsland Terrace, Christ Church, was not reported to have sustained any injuries.
