William “Bunny Rugs” Clarke, lead singer of the band Third World is dead.
Clarke died last night, three days shy of his 66th birthday.
He had been diagnosed with cancer and was in intensive care at a hospital in Orlando, Florida.
According to the Jamaica Gleaner, Clarke missed several shows in the band’s 40th anniversary tour last year because of illness.
He spent the last 31 years with Third World and was also a member of the band Inner Circle. (SAT)
