Fire destroys boat

FIRE?of unknown origin engulfed and destroyed a boat and the shed that housed it at the old Mangrove Quarry in St Philip, just after midday.
Boat designer Val Knowles, who rented the shed for several years, told THE?NATION it was a major loss to his business.
Two fire tenders, one from Probyn Street headquarters, the other from Worthing, Christ Church, responded to the blaze.
Officers from District C police station are investigating. (MK)
