She came to school in a limousine, like a superstar.
But then Sada Williams mingled and giggled uncontrollably with her friends and teachers at Coleridge and Parry School like the shy, little schoolgirl she is.
The St Peter school brought out the glitz and the glamour yesterday, as it celebrated the 16-year-old Williams for her outstanding performances in Martinique during the 43rd CARIFTA Games last Easter weekend.
The soft-spoken Williams grabbed a gold and silver individual medals along with a relay bronze at the Games, and the school’s staff, including principal Vincent Fergusson, paid tribute to her yesterday. (BA)
