Soothing paintings

NOT ALL beautiful paintings grace the walls of an art gallery.
Sometimes, right there in the comfort of your home, there is a gallery; paintings which tell stories and bring joy, peace, moments of reflection, or which remind us of our childhood days.
If we were to find an exhibition name for these paintings, [as if we were actually hosting an exhibition], the name Collections would be most appropriate. And while the artists are not always known, perhaps they still experience a measure of joy in knowing their creations can “minister” effectively to those who have purchased or come into contact with them.
Whether the painting is of the sea at its calmest or fishing boats anchored in the ocean, or onbe that brings peace and comfort, like those on this page, they speak an unspoken language which is understood by all. (CH)
