Top Gear turned into a top day.
Thousands of motorsport fans got exactly what they desired yesterday as they held their breath in anticipation of the day’s events, scheduled to get under way at noon at the spanking new Bushy Park race circuit.
That was the time Lewis Hamilton drove his Formula 1 car into their hearts and minds at the St Philip facility.
The British driver was given a rousing welcome on the first day of the Top Gear Festival, then left them begging for more after a speed and skills display never before seen in the Caribbean.
Driving his impressive teal and silver Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 beast, Hamilton also teamed up with American rally driver Ken Block to send the fans into a frenzy.
