WHETHER RUNS or goals, Rivaldo Clarke just knows how to score.
Wesley Hall’s title-winning cricket captain proved he’s no one-trick pony yesterday after switching sports to hit a brace in his school’s 7-0 win over Alfalah at Passage Road in the BICO Primary Schools’ Football Tournament.
It was the day’s biggest margin of victory, with Janash Jannai also getting a double following strikes from Kemar John, Sunil Boucher and Rael Bowen.
At the Lumber Company ground,
St Mary’s edged Grazettes in a 3-2 thriller over Grazettes after Jahshawn Goodman, Shaquan Lewis and Kyle Griffith all scored for the winners.
Daron Ward and Tremaine Drakes netted a goal apiece for Grazettes.
Luther Thorne and Charles F Broome played to an entertaining 1-1 draw at Blenheim as Shem Williams and Wayne Jones scored for their respective teams.
Goal-scorers Joshua Johnson and Nathaniel Rudder had a goal apiece to hold on for a similarly tough 2-1 victory against St Giles.
Over at Blenheim, a solitary Ormari Layne strike put Wilkie Cumberbatch in winners’ row by way of a narrow
1-0 win against George Lamming.  Sylvan Layne’s double piloted People’s Cathedral to a 2-0 blanking of St Paul’s, while Westbury and Hilda Skeene both rolled to 3-1 victories against Eden Lodge and Gordon Walters, respectively. (JM)
