Shooting in The Pine

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING a shooting incident which occurred in Blackman Field, The Pine, St Michael last night.
A 46-year-old man, who resides in the area and whose name has not been released, was reportedly shot in his right leg just after 9 p.m. and robbed of a gold chain. 
Public relations officer inspector David Welch said initial investigations indicate that the victim was walking along the road when two men armed with guns attacked him. 
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where he was treated and discharged. (PR/NB)
