THE prolific Jadan Jones continued his rich form with a blazing 111 for Graydon Sealy off last year’s losing finalists Alexandra on the opening day of the Under-15 Cricket Competition at Beckles Road yesterday.
Jones struck 12 fours and five sixes to pilot his school to 188 for eight off of 30 overs. Earlier in the season Jones scored a ton off St Leonard’s in the Goddard Schools Competition.
Graydon Sealy secured first innings lead after Alexandra mustered 156 for nine in 30 overs with Kodi Straker getting an even half-century.
The runs were also flowing over at Waterford, as young batsmen Lemar Springer (75 not out) Shakir Marshall (67) and Zidan Clarke (58 not out) all hit half-centuries in Combermere’s massive total of 303 for five. Earlier, St George were skittled out for just 75 before the hosts subsequently smashed their bowling to all parts of the field.
