Two Jamaicans on drug charges

TWO JAMAICAN MEN are expected to appear in the District “B” Magistrates’ Court today on drug charges. 

Police say 23-year-old Tyrone Jerome Taylor arrived by air from Jamaica on August 2 and was interviewed by police after clearing Immigration.  He was referred to a medical facility where he passed out 47 packets containing half a pound of cannabis. 

He has been charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. 

Lance St. Aubyn Barnes, a 40-year-old electrical engineer, has also been charged with the same offences. He arrived from Jamaica by air on July 21 and was interviewed by police after clearing Immigration.   

He was then referred to a medical facility where he passed out 74 packets containing half a pound of cannabis. (PR/NB)
