POLICE AND Coast Guard officials resumed their search this morning for a teenager who went missing at sea yesterday.

Shaquille Oneal Denny, 18, of Rollins Road, Silver Sands, Christ Church was at the time reportedly diving off a small cliff at Crane Beach with two friends.

According to police, his companions noticed he did not return after a dive. They then saw him in the water for a brief moment before losing sight of him about 3.30 p.m.  They raised the alarm, and the police were summoned.

A number of nearby beaches and coves were searched without success and the search was called off about 6.15 p.m. due to the poor conditions of the sea and the failing light. (PR/NB)
