A GUYANESE NATIONAL is expected to appear in the District F Magistrates Court today to answer a number of drug-related charges.

Police arrested and charged 41-year-old Wayne Young after cocaine and marijuana were reportedly discovered in his luggage.

When he arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport from Guyana last Wednesday, Young was interviewed by Police and then referred to Customs.

His luggage was examined and it is alleged to have contained seven packages of cocaine weighing six kilos and twelve packages of cannabis weighing 17 pound.

He is facing double counts of possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/SAT)
