A GROUP OF Martiniquan students is in Barbados on tour and attachment at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic.

They arrived late last week and have been assigned to the electronics and food and catering divisions.

About 10 of them were in one of the cooking labs with the Bajan students earlier today, and in addition to assisting with the cakes, coconut bread and other pastries, they were keen on learning how to make conkies and cou cou.

The French students will take the lead next week and show the local students how to make Martiniquan treats. (YB)
