LAW STUDENTS at the Barbados Community College (BCC) are wearing two hats this semester.

As a practical side to their Consumer Law class, the close to 30 students were required to tap into their entrepreneurial side to set up a business using the theory they had already learnt.

The budding businesspeople are fully into their roles today running outfits as sole traders and partners, under the watchful eye of instructor Laticia Bourne.

Food and beverage, a day spa, signs, clothing and shoes and legal services were among the businesses students created to get a better understanding of the legal requirements for their respective ventures, and they were well-patronised by their counterparts and other students and faculty at the BCC.  (YB)
