TEAM BARBADOS have been drawn in Group B of the Race of Champions at Bushy Park this weekend.

The team of Barbados Rally Club (BRC) champion driver Rhett Watson and former karting champion Dane Skeete will be up against Team Australia, UK and the USA.

Watson told the draw Press conference at Bushy Park that he was eagerly looking forward to the event, especially since it involved one of his childhood idols, Petter Solberg, whom he was looking forward to rubbing shoulders with.

“I am looking forward to this weekend . . . It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me as a driver and for Barbados as a country,” he said.

And with three days to go, the circuit itself is ready, as key elements the ROC Parallel Track and the ROC Skills Challenge Course, both designed by ROC co-founder Michele Mouton, have been completed.
