Natural gas drop hits businesses

SOME BUSINESSES ARE reeling as a result of a low-level supply of natural gas to their operations.

Biscuit manufacturer WIBISCO, as well as a major fast food operator, are among those affected.

General manager of WIBISCO Adrian Padmore told the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday that “it is an urgent matter that needs to be resolved”.

The National Petroleum Corporation (NPC), supplier of natural gas, said it had received calls from a number of customers on the issue which had been ongoing within recent weeks.
