No chicken at the Barn

First it was an egg shortage, now it is chicken.

Well, at least that is the plight facing at least one fast food outlet which posted a sign at its outlets to this effect yesterday.

Chicken Barn gave its customers early notice that it would be out of its primary product by tomorrow and would be closed as a result.

The sign, reportedly posted at all five branches, said: “We regret to inform you that due to the unavailability of chickens we will be forced to close Monday, December 29, 2014. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

A worker told the SUNDAY SUN as much when we queried the sign. (SP)
