THE LOCAL Pan African community has intervened in the ongoing saga involving the 90 Nigerian students who are in Barbados to undertake hospitality studies at the Barbados Community College.

Yesterday evening, a ten-member team that included attorneys David Comissiong and Robert “Bobby” Clarke, and Member of Parliament Trevor Prescod, met with the discontented students at Casa Grande Hotel in St Philip, where they are being housed, for close to three hours to discuss the problems they are facing.

The students, who are involved in the Delta State Youth Programme in Nigeria, have been expressing dissatisfaction with their living conditions and have been asking their facilitator, Donna St Hill, to relocate them to another property.
