Veteran driver Harold ‘Doc’ Morley finished second overall in the recently concluded Trinidad and Tobago Rally Club (TTRC) championship.

At the wheel of the Booth Steamship Company/ Crowley Shipping/Ontrac Telemetrics/Barrons Smokehouse/Rally Giant/ Sanjeev Subaru N14 ended the season with 89 points and said it was a result he never expected.

According to Morley, the final event at ‘Reform stage’ was the decider and depending on the performance results of about five people, he could have finished second to Craig Sumair.

“The events in Trinidad started with the T&TRC  International rally in March where we were the fastest GpN car on the first night stadium course, and eventually finished this tough gravel three-day event second in our class,” he added. (TT)
