Two men added to police wanted list

POLICE ARE SEEKING the public’s assistance in locating two men wanted in connection with separate serious criminal matters.

They are 26-year-old Damian Andre Mardonna Welch of Montrose, Christ Church and 47-year-old Obrian Fernando Knight alias “Country” or “Bandit” of Lovell Road, Massiah Street, St John.

Both are considered armed and dangerous and police say they should not be approached by the public.

Welch is about 5’ 6” tall and of medium build and dark complexion.   He has black hair, dark brown eyes, thick lips and a pointed nose.

Knight is about 5’ 11” tall and of slim build and dark complexion.   He has partially grey dreadlocks, dark brown eyes, thick lips and a pointed nose. He has a tattoo depicting the map of Africa and words “One Love” on his left arm.         

Both men are advised that they can present themselves to police accompanied by an attorney-at-law of their choice.

Meanwhile, anyone who knows their whereabouts is asked to contact police emergency at telephone number 211, the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477).

The public is reminded that it is a serious offence to harbour or assist wanted persons; any person caught committing this offence can be prosecuted. (PR/NB)
