Another police officer charged

THREE POLICE OFFICERS have been charged in the District “A” Criminal Courts within recent days.

Yesterday, special constable Dave Mervin Williams, 38, of Lot 178 Ealing Park, Christ Church, was not required to plead to the indictable charge of perverting the course of justice by accepting $30 as payment from Vere Stephens to get a police certificate of character before the due date of April 10, 2015.

Williams, represented by attorney Leslie Cargill, was granted bail in the sum of $5 000 with one surety and ordered to surrender his travel documents.
