Not one cent after 11 years

ELEVEN YEARS AFTER Michael Carrington was pulled from the mangled wreck of the Rayside Construction Company vehicle he was driving, he is wondering if he will receive compensation from the insurance company for the accident.

Carrington, who is now 41, said he had done all of the doctor visits and physical therapy and submitted all the reports to his lawyers as well as the insurance company, but the process has not been concluded.

Carrington, of Glendairy Road, Station Hill, St Michael, said his lawyer’s communication with the insurance company’s lawyers had been strained. 

“That is a very frustrating process because they have not really gotten to the stage where they can exchange note as to whether or not I will get five cents, ten cents, and it is really annoying.”
