Knockout queens UWI Blackbirds retained slim hopes of winning the Freekz Customz Division 1 netball title by holding off Spooners Hill Pearls on Friday night at the Netball Stadium.
The Blackbirds, led by Barbados goal shooter Shonica Wharton’s game-high 27 goals, took the game 32-27. Natalie Bailey led Spooners Hill with 25 goals from 33 attempts.
