Lakers have gone one up in the vengeance column now, handing their former star guard André Lockhart his first loss of the season via Saturday’s grudge-filled 71-67 thriller over Pan American International Insurance Warrens in the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League.
It was quite the welcome to the Barbados College Community for the Europe-based Lockhart, who eagerly awaited playing his hometown club for the first time since last season’s very messy and public split.
Yet Lakers had even more of a personal vendetta in this one, considering they lost the teams’ first matchup this year fresh after also watching Mark Bridgeman, Adrian Allman and Jamar King cross the floor to Warrens. (JM)
