HARRISONIANS AND FRIENDS came together on Saturday night at the Barbados Yacht Club, led by organiser Dean Straker for the cause of one of their own, musician Roger Foster.
Foster, 53, a founding member of Spice & Company in 1976, is currently in Florida battling throat cancer.
Straker, a boyhood friend of Foster, organised the For Roger Concert to assist with his medical bills and many from the musical fraternity did themselves proud by giving of their time, energy and resources – free of charge – for the cause as Foster watched the proceedings via Skype from his bed in Florida.
A crowd estimated at about 1 500 were royally treated to an evening of high quality entertainment by a who’s who of Barbados’ best artistes. (SDB Media)
