LOCAL EVANGELISTS ARE COMING out strongly against same-sex marriage, saying they never want to see it legalised in Barbados.
However, they also said they are not coming from a position of hatred but from love.
“Although we strongly oppose the LBGT (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Transsexual) agenda, we are first of all called to be Christians who have the privilege of representing Jesus Christ to all the communities of the world, regardless of race, colour, nationality or gender orientation,” said Dr David Durant of Restoration Ministries.
“We are not here to display any form of hostility in our presentation but to show love, compassion and understanding to the gay and lesbian community just as we do to every other sin in our nations and churches.” (CA)
