AS A REGULAR READER of the DAILY NATION, I wish to extend personal gratitude, thanks and appreciation to the Barbadian final year geology student at Mona Campus who allayed our fears of earth tremors and earthquakes (Page 12, WEEKEND NATION, July 24).

Saashen Sealy did an excellent job in explaining away the myths associated with these phenomena.

I believe Barbadians are now better informed and the wiser by your sharing of information.

Good luck, success and God’s blessings.
