SOCA DREAMS got patrons higher than cloud nine, as some of Crop Over’s sweetest acts set the stage for the MQI/98.1 The One Soca Royale.

The segment, which ran for just about half-hour after a delayed start due to technical difficulties, had the growing crowd rocking throughout the Bushy Park, St Philip venue.

The Feteing Mode was set and locked to go from Sanctuary who blessed the stage, and ended with this season’s greatest challenge: Survive the Weekend thrown out by the talented Marvay.

He was preceded by the Don Trent, performing the groovy When Tomorrow Comes to strong appeal. Judging from the crowd response, it is safe to say these three would have done well if they were featured in the competition as opposed to the pre-show.(GBM)
