TWO ST MICHAEL men have been remanded to prison until August 13 after appearing in court accused of wounding another man on Kadooment Day.

They are 33-year-old Ryan Andre Smith, and 40-year-old Jose McDonald Belle, both of Storey Gap, Codington Hill.

They have been jointly charged with wounding with intent in relation to the August 3, 2015 attack on Arnold Atwell along Black Rock Main Road.

Smith and Belle pleaded not guilty when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates Court today.

Atwell was accosted and wounded by a number of men allegedly including Smith and Belle. Police nearby responded and detained the men along with their weapons.
