More than 400 pounds of cannabis found on fishing boat

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested and are assisting with investigations into the seizure of more than 400 pounds of cannabis this morning.

According to police, a fishing boat was intercepted about half a mile off Paradise Beach, St Michael during a joint operation between members of the Drug Squad, the Police Marine Unit and the Barbados Coast Guard.

Eleven polythene bags weighing 405 pounds were seized. (PR/NB)
