A TRINIDADIAN MAN who pleaded guilty to bringing cocaine into Barbados has been remanded to Dodds prison until September 14 when he will be sentenced.
Police say 26-year-old Travill George arrived by air from Trinidad yesterday and was interviewed by police and referred to Customs.
A search of his suitcase revealed three packages of cocaine hidden in a false compartment. The total weight was one kilogramme.
George appeared in the Oistins Magistrates Court today and pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
