SHORTLY AFTER ARRIVAL at the Central Bank this morning, general secretary of the Barbados Workers Union Toni Moore consulted the group of protesting Bank employees before entering the building.
The employees, who have remained off the job since last Friday, assembled under the Frank Collymore Hall shed, sitting side by side on the chairs they had removed from the building.
At 9:14 a.m. Moore made her way to the tenth floor of the Bank with senior assistant general secretary Orlando Scott, president of BWU division of the Central Bank Noel Reece, other BWU members and about 16 shop stewards.
The meeting is aimed at resolving grievances with the financial institution. (LT)
