THE PILOT PROJECT to integrate public service vehicles (PSVs) and Transport Board buses has been pushed back to December 1.
Minister of Transport Michael Lashley said the delay by a month was due to the reissuance of public tender on Friday.
During a public information meeting on the initiative at Combermere School yesterday, Transport Authority officials offered an olive branch to PSV operators in a bid to solicit their cooperation ahead of the six-month pilot on routes to Sturges, St Thomas; Martin’s Bay, St John; and Edey Village in Christ Church.
Lashley described the initiative as worthwhile and said it would not succeed without the full commitment and blessing of all parties. (WILLCOMM)
