TWO TOURNAMENTS. Two titles. Too easy!

The YMCA Wildcats have yet to lose, stretching their perfect record into yet another season after holding off Future Pinelands 74-57 on Sunday to win a second successive Under-19 basketball cup at the Barbados Community College.

It was the fitting finish to another championship run from the side born of local basketball’s mini league programme, with finals MVP Nikolai Burton ending two steals shy of a triple double to cap the team’s great title-game performance.

There was no such fortune on the other side though, as the defeat was Pinelands’ third such finals loss this year after the club also came up short in the Premier League and Ballout Coast2Coast championships.
