KRAIGG BRATHWAITE will lead the 13-man Barbados Pride squad that will oppose the Jamaica Scorpions in their first round Professional Cricket League’s Four Day competition from November 6-9 at Kensington Oval.

The Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme’s Kemar Brathwaite has also been named to the squad while a notable omission is in-form batsman Omar Phillips who broke his arm over the weekend. Phillips was a shoo-in for a spot on the team but will now face a three-month hiatus from the sport to recuperate.

There have been two new additions to the management team and another new name is expected to be added by tomorrow. Noted coach Roderick “Roddy” Estwick will be a part of the team as the consultant to fast bowlers while Garry Belle will be the new analyst. There will also be a new team manager and that person is expected to be names by tomorrow.

Barbados Pride Squad: Kraigg Brathwaite (Captain), Kemar Brathwaite, Shamarh Brooks, Roston Chase, Kyle Corbin, Miguel Cummins, Shane Dowrich, Justin Greaves, Shai Hope, Ashley Nurse, Kemar Roach, Kevin Stoute, Jomel Warrican.

Management Team: Hendy Springer (Head Coach), Roderick ‘Roddy’ Estwick (Consultant to Fast Bowlers), Dr. Jacqueline King (Physiotherapist), Shannon Lashley (Fitness and Conditioning Consultant), Gary Belle (Analyst). (PG)
