CHERISS OMAR INCE will reappear in court on December 2 after being charged in the murder of Marcelle Smith, the 75-year-old woman who went missing on October 12 and turned up dead 12 days later.

The 36-year-old carpenter of Nursery #2 Four Roads, St Philip was instantly remanded to HMP Dodds by Magistrate Christopher Birch when he appeared in the District “C” Magistrate Court, sitting in the St Matthias complex.

Last Friday, Ince was remanded on a charge of stealing the car Smith was driving at the time she disappeared.

But following an autopsy done by an outside forensic pathologist which concluded that Smith was strangled, Ince was charged with her death today. (AC)
