Courts happy with growth

INCREASED SUCCESS in sales by a retail household store has been attributed to the high level of financial responsibility by Barbadians.

Managing director of the Unicomer (Barbados) Limited, Trisha Tannis, said the company has recorded growth over the last year and that any decrease recorded was not significant.

“We have really not seen any serious deterioration in our portfolio [because] Barbadians are extremely financially responsible persons. We do get one or two who are genuinely delinquent but we do try to work with them,” she said. 

Tannis also reported that the company had recorded increased foot traffic, something on which they capitalised through technology.  (TG)
