WITH THE POMP and precision of a military spectacle, the members of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School celebrated their country’s Independence yesterday.
Cadets and new recruits, moving in time to the beat of the drums from their Drum Corps, turned the Major Nicholls Square of the school into their own parade ground yesterday.
Duplicating many of the manoeuvres that will be on show come Monday at the Garrison Savannah the Cadet Corps, led by Parade Commander Cadet Under Officer Reshad Shepherd, who is also the school’s head boy, took over command from Cadet Under Sergeant Dawneile Gittens and put their young students through their paces.
