18 year old male in custody

POLICE HAVE MADE a breakthrough in relation to the Independence Day shooting death of Dwayne Burgess.

An 18 year old male suspect is currently in police custody, and is expected to be charged shortly. 

Burgess, 35, of Marley Vale, St Philip, was fatally shot during the staging of the St Philip Carnival. 

The members of the Royal Barbados Police Force expressed sincere gratitude to all persons who assisted with the investigation. (PR/SAT)
