CHRISTMAS OR NOT, Party Monarch Peter Ram rocked the thousands of people attending Carols By Candlelight on Sunday night.
The minute the entertainer stepped on the stage and the talented Red Boyz musicians started to play the 2015 hit All Ah We, children quickly gathered in front of the stage to dance and just be closer. Some adults stood and danced and others stayed in their chairs and blankets and swayed, nodded their heads and sang along.
’Twas 13 days before Christmas, and thousands of babies, children and adults filled every inch of space on the lawns of the Prime Minister’s official residence Ilaro Court, for the 20th edition of the event hosted by the Rotary Club of Barbados that seems to be increasing in popularity each year.
People sang along merrily, whipped out their cellphones, cameras and tablets, and recorded the performances or took several photos during the evening filled with lots of cheer, warmth, family, and good music. (GBM)
