Bajan artistes upbeat

BARBADOS was well represented in the International Soca Monarch competition Sunday night at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, with five Bajans taking to the stage.

And by tonight, iWeb, Biggie Irie, King Bubba, Hypasounds and Peter Ram should know who made it to the finals.

By all accounts, except for minor issues, all went well for the performers, three of whom were first-timers: iWeb, King Bubba and Hypasounds.

First out the blocks was iWeb at No. 9, who did Incredible, his song with Alison Hinds. He called the night “a learning experience” and had no issues with his performance.
