Blue blaze trail for Deacons

THE BLUE SKIES foreshadowed the unfolding of events at the Deacons Primary School sports, when Blazing Blue took home the title for the second year in a row at the Desmond Haynes Oval yesterday.

Blue House amassed 420 points ahead of Yellow Trail Blazers with 314, 2013 winners Green Giants were third with 272 points with Red on 194.

From just the field events, Blue embarked on their mission with 154 points with a margin of 66 points ahead of Yellow.

And just before lunch the margin only closed by four points, which was certainly nothing significant for Yellow to shout about.

All eyes were on victor ludorum Romarieo Cummins, who contributed big time to Blue House’s victory.
