THE TIME HAS come for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) to be privatised and run like a hotel.

“Run the hospital like a business like it’s done in other areas of the world, mainly Singapore. The employees have shares, you run it and any excess shares are bought by corporate Barbados,” Chase said as he discussed matters pertaining to the hospital, its finances and wastage.

Chase further explained how the vision of a private hospital could work and also benefit both patients and doctors who used its facilities.
