Lynch raps Stadium conditions

FAR FROM IDEAL.

Vice-president of the Athletics Association of Barbados (AAB), Noel Lynch, says he is not happy with the below par facilities at the National Stadium, but provisions are being put in place to ensure that this weekend’s Louis Lynch Championships will be a success.

“It is disappointing what we have to endure right now with the stands being condemned. The Stadium is not the most congenial environment at the moment but we will try to make things as comfortable for the fans this weekend.

“Conditions are far from ideal but we will do our best to make the spectators happy. It is a quality meet and there is an entry fee of $10, so it is important that the fans are comfortable in every way,” he said.
