Water agony

OUR WATER WOES have gone from bad to worse.

That was the cry of some water-starved residents of St Joseph and St John yesterday. They now fear the ongoing strike by Barbados Water Authority (BWA) workers will cause them more suffering than it will the company. 

In fact, their immediate worry is that the “really bad”outages that started last September and ruined their Christmas could return as an Easter nightmare.

Several residents of Branchbury, Lammings and Airy Hill in St Joseph reported they were now suffering through a three-day outage and empty community water tanks.
