Five remanded to Dodds on drug charges

FIVE MEN CHARGED in relation to two separate offshore drug seizures were remanded to prison when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates Court.

Fifty-six-year-old Wayne Alfonso Holder of Brittons Hill, St Michael and Vincentian Sidney D. Cordice, 38, faced charges relating to the seizure of cannabis off the West Coast on Sunday night.

They were jointly charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of 814 pounds of cannabis with a street value of around $1.6 million.

Meanwhile, three men were charged in connection with the seizure of more than 500 pounds of cannabis off the north coast last Thursday night.

They are Allan Anthony Cutting, 48, of Godding Road, St Michael; Andrew Alexander Smith, 55, of Brighton, St Michael and Stewart Delisle Ifill, 30, of Bartlett Tenantry, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church

All five men are scheduled to re-appear in court on May 30, 2016. (PR/NB)
