LAST YEAR’s triple crown champions Sagicor UWI are one step closer to another title after demolishing CounterPoint Wanderers by 136 runs in the quarter-finals of the Sagicor General Twenty20 competition at the 3Ws Oval on Wednesday night.

UWI released their hungry batsmen on the toothless Wanderers bowlers to amass 225 for five from their 20 overs at a run rate of 11.25 an over.
