CROP OVER 2016 has not yet officially started and already a number of fetes are sold out, while others are close to their limit.
Branded as the Sweetest Summer Festival, Crop Over will be officially launched on Saturday and promoters of some of the private parties are boasting full houses at some events.
Island Mas Breakfast Party, set for July 31, has been forced to relocate from its customary location at George Washington House, the Garrison, St Michael, to Ball Park in Christ Church, to accommodate the increase in crowds.
Peter Clarke, a director of Island Mas, said they are catering to 1 200 patrons, compared with 900 last year.
