Woman finds beach items torched

LAVONNE ALLEYNE HAS a burning question.

She wants to know who torched her beachside chairs in which she invested thousands of dollars.

On Sunday morning when the businesswoman arrived at her work space on Fitts Village Beach, St James, she found her 60 beach chairs, cushions, umbrellas and six tables burnt. And while admittedly there was tension with people in the area, Alleyne remained clueless as to who lit the match that ruined her livelihood.

The 37-year-old was left pleading for help since the business into which she put her time and money was uninsured. (TSG)
